Fullerton family portrait session

When Michelle contacted me to photograph her family, I couldn’t have been more honored. Michelle and my baby sis are high school friends so it’s pretty awesome to see Michelle all grown up and happily married with a daughter. :) Michelle actually booked the session for her mom since grandma wanted pictures of her and her grandkids. How sweet is that?! I’m not gonna lie. I had a blast shooting everyone but trying to get these adorable munchkins to stay still in front of the camera was quite a challenge to say the least. LOL.

Oh. But when you do get them to smile/pose for the camera, amazing things can happen. Like the photos below. How darling are these?! And how young and hip is grandma Victoria? Can you believe she has 3 grandchildren?!

The adorable Michael.

LOVE this pic! Gotta love baby Olivia’s expression. She was such an easy-going baby! So funny because every time Layla was in the picture, Michael seems to magically disappear.

And then when Michael was in the picture, Layla magically disappears. LOL! Michael’s such a natural in front of the camera, don’t cha think? ;)

Seriously. So cute.

Aww. Poor Layla. She just wasn’t in the mood for photos. ;) Too adorable.

Baby Olivia with dad. I can already see her being daddy’s little girl. :)

The Lee’s.

I totally think pics like these make for the BEST Christmas cards!

The Larson’s.

I love! Another pick for Christmas cards! :) So funny.

Gorgeous ladies!

I was a little afraid of Michelle’s pittbull, but she was so sweet.

3 generations. How awesome is that?

Grandma #1!

Thanks guys for allowing me to document your beautiful family! Had a great time chasing the kids around and bribing them with treats! ;) Much love.

kristi klemens - these are WONDERFUL!!! i love how you see the beauty in the “non perfect” shots, those are awesome and really tell a story, love it! :)

Huntington Beach Portrait Session |eva + craig|

Where do I even start? I seriously love this woman to death and couldn’t be happier to have her in my life. She has been so wonderful and SO supportive of me and my photography business and I couldn’t be more grateful. And I love that our professional relationship has bloomed into a wonderful friendship. For those of you who don’t know, Eva is the proud owner of The Wedding Pantry, a bridal boutique located in Tustin, CA.

When Eva told me it was time to update her family photos and asked  me to take them, I could not have been more honored. Thanks Eva & Craig for treating me to lunch and for being so fun and open in front of my lens. You two are way too adorable and I had such a great time documenting you guys. And don’t forget! We need to set a date for some Korean BBQ! ;)

Without further adieu, I give you Eva + Craig! Enjoy!

the golden gate bridge

Here are some shots of the magnificent Golden Gate Bridge I shot in film. No matter how many times I cross this bridge, I am always giddy and amazed. Plus it reminds me of Full House.  Finally got the film back from my most recent trip up north so come back to see more!

Shot with the Canon A-1, Ilford B&W 400.

As much as I love sun and lens flare, I came to appreciate San Francisco’s wind, fog and cold. Very romantic.

Holly Steen - Gorgeous of course… I love your black and white stuff… too cool for school

Let’s Talk About… Chun Jung Myung

this is toally a non photography related post. actually, no it isn’t. chun jung myun. if you’re reading my blog, holla at your girl so i can photograph your gorgeous self.

i go through these phases where i’ll start watching korean dramas again. i enjoy having it as background noise as i edit/process images. thumbs up for being bilingual. wouldn’t be able to multi-task if i weren’t! i stopped watching dramas a while back because 1. they’re time consuming and 2. so many of the male actors look like girls and i need my men to look like… well, men. seriously. check this dude out. if chun jung myung grows his hair out, starts wearing makeup and way too skinny skinny pants, he’s off my top 5 Asia list. HA! ;)

anyhoo. i just finished watching this drama with Chun Jung Myung and I HAD to blog about him. i think i’m in lurve. i don’t follow korean celebrities so don’t know their history, but i think this cutie just got out of the army and is getting back into the entertainment industry. so hot. so. very. hot.

cotton tee. buzzed hair cut. perfection.

i love cotton.

Happy Monday!
